AlcoCal®

AlcoCal standards are used for the periodic checking and adjusting of the calibration of the handheld instruments, to ensure accuracy of readings. All AlcoCals are labelled in milligrams per litre breath alcohol concentration (mg/l BrAC) 

AlcoCal®-M

Disposable canister at concentration in two ranges: 0.20-0.25 & 0.33-0.40mg/l BrAC. Contains sufficient vapour for approximately 50 samples (6 months shelf-life).

AlcoCal® 2AL

Disposable cylinder at 0.22 or 0.35mg/l BrAC. Contains sufficient vapour for approximately 300 samples (Maximum 3 years shelf-life). Supplied with regulator and 10 AlcoCal® connector tubes. When cylinder is empty/time expired, cylinder is disposed of and regulator retained for fitting to new cylinder.

Product Safety

For transportation purposes, AlcoCal®standards are classed as Dangerous Goods due to the fact that they are aerosols/pressurised containers. As such, transport of these products is subject to IATA, IMDG, ADR etc. regulations. Please contact Lion for further information. Safety Data Sheets are available on request.
